Socialists For Ossoff Adds A New Member

Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) endorsed Jon Ossoff today. The fact that the socialist Senator would support Ossoff is just the latest sign that Ossoff is out of touch with the district.

Sanders’ association with Ossoff will only bring negatives for the 30-year-old multi-millionaire in the runoff. Sanders did awfully in the district in the 2016 Democratic primary, and Sanders’ extreme views will hamper Ossoff’s attempt to speak only in platitudes.

Ossoff has been very reluctant to answer questions, while Sanders’ support of his candidacy raises many new questions:

• Will Ossoff join with Sanders in calling for higher taxes on the middle class?
• Does Ossoff join Sanders in not considering himself a capitalist?
• Does Ossoff agree with Sanders’ proposal to increase federal spending by $68 trillion over 10 years?
• Sanders has called for the abolition of the CIA. Considering recent terrorist attacks, does Ossoff concur?

These are vital questions that Georgia voters deserve answers to immediately.
