Heidi Heitkamp Can’t “Resist” The Hypocrisy

Senator Heidi Heitkamp (D-ND) has an incredibly tough re-election campaign coming next year. Therefore, it’s no surprise that in this video captured by America Rising, Heitkamp is seen blasting the growing “resist movement” that’s led by fellow Senators like Elizabeth Warren:

Yet, while Heitkamp blasted the “resist movement” because she said all they want to do is “waste her time,” she has no problem cashing checks from their leader, Elizabeth Warren. On March 23, 2017, Warren’s PAC For A Level Playing Field donated $10,000 to Heitkamp’s campaign. If Heitkamp actually had such a big problem with the movement, that $10,000 check from Warren would never have been accepted.

Furthermore, Heitkamp is raising millions from outside North Dakota, in exactly the same places that are supporting the “resist movement” that she bashes in the video:

“Just 6.8 percent of the itemized individual contributions in Heitkamp’s most recent fundraising report filed with the FEC (see below) came from North Dakota citizens. Itemized contributions from North Dakota voters made up less than 3 percent of Heitkamp’s total fundraising figure in the report.”

Heitkamp’s hypocrisy is extraordinary. She’s trying to have it both ways, blasting leftist activists but still taking their money. North Dakota voters will see through Heitkamp’s opportunistic act.
