2018 Red State Democratic Senators Vote To Continue ObamaCare

Last night the Senate took the first step to repeal and replace Obamacare with a health care system that actually works. This year Obamacare has inflicted massive premium increases on Americans, while also seeing a significant number of health insurers flee the Obamacare exchanges. Obamacare’s failings have also caused over one million Americans to lose their health insurance plans in 2017. Even Nancy Pelosi has admitted that under Obamacare, higher premiums have become a reality:

Unfortunately, Senate Democrats appear to have missed that memo. Given the massive failings of Obamacare, a neutral observer might have expected some red state Democrats to join with Republicans in working to create a health care system that works. Yet as last night’s vote shows, endangered Democratic Senators like Claire McCaskill, Joe Donnelly, and Jon Tester appear ready and willing to go down with the Obamacare ship.

Every single 2018 Senate Democrat in a state that Hillary Clinton voted against working to fix America’s health care system last night. As the sticker shock of Obamacare gets worse, the voters of these Senators states will certainly remember who didn’t work to fix their problems.
